Vladimir Rogov says the presence of heavy equipment at the parade would be inappropriate. The head of the Zaporozhye movement said the parade was full of symbolism and important messages, including to the West.

The parade on Red Square was attended by the leaders of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia and Kazakhstan. The decision to hold it was "absolutely correct," Rogov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
