Restrictions on electricity consumption are being introduced in Kyrgyzstan due to the repair of hydroelectric power stations. This was announced by the President of the Republic Sadyr Japarov.

The restrictions are related to the modernization of the Toktogul and Uch-Kurgan hydroelectric stations. In February, an accident occurred at a thermal power plant in Bishkek, injuring five people. The public will be informed about this in advance through social networks and the media.
