The 2021 federal election had to be repeated in parts of Berlin. The CDU and AfD were able to gain there compared to 2021, while the SPD and FDP lost approval.
Voter turnout in the repeat voting districts fell significantly, from almost 77 to 51 percent. Based on the result in Berlin as a whole and nationwide, most parties lost the absolute number of second votes. In the updated Berlin overall result, this means that the Greens lose slightly - despite their slightly increased share of the vote.
