Region Skåne has seen its costs for temporary staff increase over the past year. The price tag in 2022 – SEK 453 million.
Now they want to reduce the use of temporary staff. An effort is now being made to start up a "region-wide resource team" where nurses and specialist nurses will be recruited from the rental companies. "We would rather invest in and develop our own staff and take responsibility for our workplaces," says Linda Allansson Wester (M), Chairman of the Personnel Board.
