Putin signed a decree on spring conscription into the army. Citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 are subject to conscription for military service.
By the end of 2024 it is planned to increase the number of military personnel serving under contract to 745 thousand people. The corresponding document was published on the official legal information portal. The decree says that from April 1 to July 15, 2024, 150,000 people will be subject to military service, in the amount of 1,000,000.
