Putin said that the tax burden in Russia should be fairer. According to him, companies and people who earn more should contribute more to the budget for solving national problems and fighting poverty.
Earlier, Putin instructed to submit proposals for modernizing the tax system. Later, the Government Commission approved amendments regarding taxes on long-term deposits of Russians.
