Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this in an interview with journalist Dmitry Kiselev for Rossiya 1 and RIA Novosti.
“Indeed, the distribution of this tax burden should be more fair...” said the Russian leader.
According to him, companies and people who earn more should contribute more to the budget for solving national problems and fighting poverty.
Earlier, Putin instructed to submit proposals for modernizing the tax system.
Later, the Government Commission approved amendments regarding taxes on long-term deposits of Russians.
