Presidential election in Senegal: the final results confirm the large victory of Bassirou Diomaye Faye. This is the last stage of the accelerated electoral process before the inauguration of the new head of state scheduled for April 2 and the departure of President Macky Sall.
The swearing-in will take place in the new town of Diamniadio, followed by the transfer of power at the presidential palace. The two men already met on Thursday at the Palace, also in the presence of Ousmane Sonko.
