Presidential election in Senegal: Karim Wade's PDS supports candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye. The Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS) announced on March 22, 2024, 48 hours before the presidential election.
The PDS wanted to present the candidacy of Karim. Wade for this election initially scheduled for February 25, but it was rejected by the Constitutional Council. The latter, who had been disqualified from the presidential race, therefore calls on all PDS electoral committees, in Senegal and in the diaspora, to work closely with the Diomaye President coalition.
