In Senegal, a new government was appointed yesterday evening by the new Prime Minister Sidiki Kaba. He will be responsible for leading the country to the elections on March 24, while the campaign opened at midnight this night.
It is a tighter government with 34 ministers instead of 39 previously. A team of loyal people like the Minister of the Interior, Mouhamadou Mokhtar Cissé, until now Macky Sall's chief of staff since October 2023 and whose mission will be to organize the election.
