Portuguese police will begin on Tuesday the recognition of a swamp in the town of Silves on the suspicion that there could be the key to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. The inspection of the swamp, allegedly used by Christian Brueckner during his stay in Portugal, will initially last for two days, with the participation of divers who will look for possible mortal remains.

The German police have designated the swamp as an "area of interest", although there is apparently no clue or specific information that conclusive evidence of the disappearance could be found there.
