Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk believes that Europe must get used to living in a pre-war era. Tusk gave this assessment of the situation in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País.

According to the politician, European countries will have more and more obligations towards Ukraine over time, because the conflict risks protracting. “The most alarming thing now is that literally any scenario is possible. We have not experienced such a situation since 1945,” says Tusk.
