Police in Bergslagen region have built up a special unit for complex cybercrime, KCB. The group participated in an international operation in early April, where a man in his 30s from Dalarna is suspected of preparing for hacking.
The man is suspected to have purchased personal data via a digital online marketplace, which provided illegally acquired personal data. To try to keep up with developments, there is therefore a national investment in cybercrime. And recruitment continues – in fierce competition, says Tobias Lord, head of KCB at the police region.
