Police cordon off part of a Dutch city over a 'hostage situation' at a cafe. The hostages were being held at Café Petticoat, a popular bar and nightclub in Ede.

Officers evacuated 150 homes near a central square, saying there was a person in the area "who could be a danger to themselves or others" The town council reported that all shops in the center of Ede would remain closed. Police said in a statement published on the social network of a terrorist motive.
