Dmitry Peskov said that he is not aware of the law banning rainbows in Russia. Earlier, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov appealed to the Supreme Court after a girl was arrested for five days for LGBT propaganda.
LGBT organization is recognized as extremist, its activities are prohibited in Russia by decision of Supreme Court of November 30, 2023. The case of the girl detained for rainbow earrings is still under investigation by the Russian authorities, according to reports.
