"I'm not aware of any laws that ban rainbows in Russia... I honestly don't know all the details of this case," he said.
Earlier, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov appealed to the Supreme Court after a girl was arrested for five days for LGBT propaganda*.
* LGBT organization is recognized as extremist, its activities are prohibited in Russia by decision of the Supreme Court of November 30, 2023.
