French police have released the man's name and year of birth. He is in his 30s and according to SVT's information he has been written in West Sweden for some time and in Sweden since 2013.
He has previous convictions for welfare offences. "He was part of our family but has disappeared from Sweden," says a relative of the suspected perpetrator. The police in Sweden cannot confirm that the man is registered in western Sweden, but according to French authorities it is a person who is resident in Sweden.
