Patrushev: The US is inciting Russophobia in order to economically bind NATO countries. He cited the example of Estonian Prime Minister Kai Kallas, who announced an increase in taxes in the state to increase defense spending.
He noted that the prime minister is forced to commit this “act of political suicide,” since members of the alliance must submit to “bloc” discipline by increasing military spending. The U.S. is profiting by increasing the capacity of the military-industrial complex, he said.
