Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan expressed the opinion that Russia should withdraw its border guards from the airport. According to him, Armenian forces are capable of defending their borders themselves. The Russian leader's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Russia had received a notification from Armenia to stop the work.
