SVA is releasing information about the current infection situation and handling of the outbreak. Sick and directly exposed horses from the affected operation have been removed from the facility.
Horses on the holding are under observation and are not allowed to leave the area.Fixed zones will be established for the various activities in the area, in order to maintain separation for continued infection control. In this way, the horse clinic can stay open and visitors can move safely within the clinic zone without any contact with horses in other zones.
