The lifeless body of a person has been found by firefighters who were carrying out extinguishing work in the fire caused by a gas explosion. 16 people have been injured, all of them of a minor nature, including two police officers, two firefighters and neighbors.
The explosion occurred just when the firefighters were going to force the door of the house afterbeing alerted by a strong smell of gas that came from inside. The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined. The fire chief of the Municipal Fire Extinguishing Service, Basilio Gonzalez, confirmed the death.
