On Monday the renovation works of the Santiago Bernabéu Metro begin: 66 million investment and completion in 2027. The Ministry of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure is going to carry out a reform that includes different actions such as increasing its surface area, which will triple its current size.
Traffic will be affected by partial cuts, initially on the Castellana service road, on the side of the Congress Palace. The impact on the center lanes will be gradual and subsequent, as the project progresses.
