A development agreement to build two apartment buildings in Idre has been withdrawn. The decision was made after a year-long appeal to the Swedish Court of Appeal.
The land can still be sold to a new developer, but only if it meets a two-year deadline. The master plan for Idre and the surrounding area is still being drawn up. The future of the green space in the area will be decided in the coming years, says the mayor of Idre, Stefan Linde, who lives in the village.
