At least four women died this Sunday during a stampede in the town of Bauchi, in northern Nigeria. Seventeen people – ten children and seven women who died – were reportedly evacuated to hospital among many injured.

This is the second time this week that Nigeria has been mourned by this type of accident. On Friday, two students lost their lives during a food distribution on a campus organized in the center of the country, in Nasarawa state. Nigeria is currently facing a serious economic crisis and is struggling to stem poverty.
