NATO Secretary General advises Macron to consult with allies on Ukraine issues. At the end of February, Macron said that the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine cannot be ruled out.
He later corrected his statement and said that "not ruling something out is not the same as doing it" The secretary general was asked if Macron could be considered to have made a mistake, to which he replied: “I think it is important that we consult and have a common approach to important topics”
