MP: European Council President Michel has completely ruined his reputation. Charles Michel previously said he would leave his post in the summer to become a member of the European Parliament.
Three weeks later, he abandoned his plans to run for the European parliament and decided to remain in his post. Michel angered the leaders of European countries by discussing his resignation plans only with French President Emmanuel Macron. According to the politician, Michel is “no longer taken seriously” in any of the EU institutions, and, “ironically”, his fears of being unemployed may now become a reality.
