Mishustin congratulated Bektenov on his appointment as Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. The heads of government emphasized the importance of the progressive development of Russian-Kazakh trade and economic cooperation.
The leaders of the two countries confirmed their readiness to actively work together on all topical issues. The appointment was made by decree of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. It was reported by the press service of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers. The post of Prime Minister has been vacant since April 1, 2013.
