Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare to provide lump-sum payment to children of welfare recipient households. Children from households receiving public assistance will no longer be eligible for public assistance if they graduate from high school, go on to university, etc., or get a job and become independent.
If the bill is enacted, the lump- sum payment will be 300,000 yen if you live alone, and 100,000 Yen if you continue to live with your family and the entire household no longer receives welfare benefits.
