Ministry of Defense: air defense forces intercepted two missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the S-200 complex over Crimea. Fragments of missiles fell in a deserted area with subsequent detonation on the ground.

There were no casualties or damage as a result of the attack. In Sevastopol, on the evening of October 18, an air alert was announced. Four NATO reconnaissance aircraft 150 km from Crimea: a high-altitude unmanned RQ-4 Global Hawk, a Bombardier Challenger 650 Artemis electronic reconnaissance aircraft.
