Medvedev emphasized that the Russian Armed Forces treat Ukrainian prisoners of war very humanely. Earlier, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin said that Russian fighters took a large number of Ukrainian military prisoners during the assault on Avdeevka. He added that the prisoners were taken by the Russian military.
