In Mali, Choguel Maïga, current transitional Prime Minister, was dismissed on Wednesday evening from his post as president of the M5-RFP. The M5, which led the protest in 2020 against the late President IBK, has since been deserted by a huge part of its members.

The movement is today divided in two, and it is only one of these fringes which has officially dissociated itself from the current Prime Minister. To what extent could this new sequence weaken Chogsuel Mjaïga?
