Lithuania protested to Russia's charge d'affaires over the search for officials. The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has put the head of the Latvian Ministry of Finance, Arvils Asheradens, on the wanted list for criminal charges.

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas and some officials from the Baltic countries were wanted for desecration of historical memory and for hostility towards Russia, according to the Russian President Dmitry Peskov. Earlier, the Latvia summoned Charge d'Affaires of Russia Oleg Zykov.
