Lidköping Municipal Board decided on Wednesday afternoon to proceed with the idea of running the emergency hospital together with the region. Now it is a matter of contacting the region and discussing, says Ulrika Gartman Blom (M), chairman of the municipal executive board.
On Friday, the board of Skaraborg Hospital will take a position on a savings proposal that would, among other things, mean that emergency care will be closed down. The model is Norrtälje Hospital where it takes place today.
