For the first time in Libya, the presence of a private American security company is reported in Tripoli. Its goal is to provide military training to armed groups in order to integrate them into official state forces.
This is the American company Amentum, active in the field of security and affiliated with the American Department of State and Defense. The company would be based in Libya on a contract with the Dbeibah government and its men would be at the Maitigua military base in Tripoli, now emptied of militias.
