Lawyer: investor Calvey did not admit guilt in the case of embezzlement of 2.5 billion rubles. Earlier, the Second Court of Cassation commuted Michael Calvey's suspended sentence by two months.
The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case in which Calvey became a defendant on February 13, 2019. The IC believes that Calvey misled the board of directors of the bank on the issue of the value of shares of the First Collection Bureau. It believes that the shares were valued at the amount of the debt, with their real value being 600 thousand rubles, according to the IC.
