Lavrov and the Deputy Foreign Minister of China discussed the Ukrainian conflict. The parties highly appreciated the current Russian-Chinese relations.
Lavrov and Ma Zhaoxu called for an immediate resolution of the situation in the Middle East, as well as a reduction in tension on the Korean Peninsula. Earlier, Sergei Lavrov said that relations between Russia and China are now experiencing the best period in history. The Russian Foreign Ministry released a statement on its website about the meeting. It said that the parties discussed the current state of affairs in Ukraine and security in the Eurasian space.
