The Kyiv authorities want to hold a peace summit in Switzerland in 2024. Russian Ambassador to Bern Sergei Garmonin noted that Switzerland has lost the authority of a non-partisan international platform and cannot be considered as a mediator in resolving the situation in Ukraine. Member of the Swiss National Council from the Swiss People's Party Rino Büchel said that in order to confirm its neutrality in the Ukrainian conflict, it is necessary to invite Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
