The Ukrainian minister wrote about this on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

According to him, the parties discussed bilateral relations between Ukraine and China, as well as mutual trade.

In addition, Kuleba and Wang Yi touched upon the topic of the “peace summit” that the Kyiv authorities want to hold in Switzerland.

Kuleba did not specify whether Wang Yi agreed to take part in the summit.

Earlier, Swiss President Viola Amherd announced that the country plans to hold a peace conference on Ukraine in 2024.

Member of the Swiss National Council from the Swiss People's Party Rino Büchel said that in order to confirm its neutrality in the Ukrainian conflict, it is necessary to invite Russian leader Vladimir Putin to Bern.

Russian Ambassador to Bern Sergei Garmonin noted that Switzerland has lost the authority of a non-partisan international platform and cannot be considered as a mediator in resolving the situation in Ukraine.
