Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson is considering travelling to Turkey to attend President Erdogan's presidential inauguration on Saturday. "We have received an invitation and we have a good plan," the prime minister said.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has also received a formal invitation to Ankara, he said at a press conference that concludes NATO's informal foreign ministers' meeting in Oslo. The re-elected Erdogan did not attend Thursday's EPG summit in Moldova, but there are still contacts between Sweden and Turkey.
