[HIGHLIGHTS] Kravtsov called the US sanctions against him revenge for the independence of the Russian education system

The head of the Ministry of Education of Russia, Sergei Kravtsov, called the personal sanctions of the United States revenge for the independence and autonomy of the Russian education system. According to him, Russia is on the verge of global leadership in the educational environment.

The US Treasury Department previously announced the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions against 46 individuals, including the Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova. Also, the US Department of Commerce imposed export restrictions on 71 companies from Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.
