The governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexander Uss, thanked those who helped his son return to Russia from Italy. He also expressed special gratitude to the head of state Vladimir Putin.
On March 21, 2023, a court in Italy approved the extradition of Uss to the United States, but on March 23, the man left his place of residence in Milan and the electronic bracelet that was worn on Uss was broken. Uss escaped from custody in Italy with the help of accomplices on April 4.
