Kiruna municipality offers summer jobs in elderly care to 17-year-olds on regular salary terms. Young people without previous experience or education in care are also welcome to apply.
But few of the students we meet at high school have heard of the offer. "I wasn't aware of it. It might have been interesting to test, but maybe not right now," says Stina Frånberg. "Certainly good for some, but I have other plans for the future," says Ellen Larsson, supported by Rozaline Buimer.
