Kim Jong-un's sister allowed the possibility of Japanese Prime Minister Kishida's visit to Pyongyang. Kim Yo Jong said that obstacles to rapprochement between the two countries will be removed if Japan abandons the habit of “unfairly clinging” to the DPRK’s right to self-defense.

Earlier, Secretary General of the Japanese Cabinet of Ministers Yoshimasa Hayashi said that Tokyo is monitoring the situation around the DPRK and its relations with Russia.
