One of the main suspects in the investigation into the assassination of Kevin Trompat and Leslie Hoorelbeke was released on Tuesday under judicial supervision. Three other suspects remain in pre-trial detention and indicted for murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement and altering a crime scene.

A reconstitution, initially envisaged in April, should take place during the year 2024, perhaps in October or November, the council of one of the parties told AFP. The motives of the accused remain unclear for the moment, between “sentimental disappointment and/or financial debts”
