Jordanian lawyers are pursuing the leaders of the Israeli occupation in the International Criminal Court. The Jordanian lawyers’ lawsuit against the Israeli entity for committing genocide was based on the lawsuit filed by the State of South Africa, while the step comes in implementation of previous decisions of the Jordanian Bar Association Council.
Since last October, a war on the Gaza Strip has resulted in the death of more than 28,000 Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women, according to the United Nations. It is noteworthy that the international team includes the Jordanian, Palestinian, Algerian, Tunisian and Mauritanian bar associations, and the National Union of Algerian Judges.
