President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China and President Emomali Rahmon of the Republic of Tajikistan held talks in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. The two heads of state exchanged in-depth views on mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and international and regional issues of common concern.

They agreed that the joint statements, declarations and treaties signed by the two sides have laid a solid legal foundation for the development of bilateral relations. They also agreed that exchanges between legislative bodies are an important part of China-Tajikistan relations.
