At the invitation of President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, paid a state visit to China from 2023 to 4 April 12. During the visit, the two heads of state held talks in a warm and friendly atmosphere, exchanged views on China-Pakistan relations, cooperation in various fields between the two countries, and international and regional issues of common concern.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to international law, including the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
