Israel attacks the Court of Justice and refuses to recognize the legitimacy of its arguments. The sessions are scheduled to continue until next Monday, with the participation of 52 countries, along with the League of Arab States.
The President of the Court, Nawaf Salam, began today’s session by mentioning the names of the countries that will submit their interventions, led by Palestine. Each country will provide a half-hour oral intervention regarding its point of view on procedural issues, and the Court is scheduled to issue at a later time an advisory opinion on the legal consequences of the occupation.
