Iran is working to reopen its embassy in Riyadh and its consulate in Jeddah by the end of next month and before the start of the Hajj season. Saudi side assured Tehran that it will complete the necessary procedures to reopen the Saudi embassy in Tehran and the Saudi consulate in the city of Mashhad.
Riyadh agreed to resume single Umrah for Iranian citizens. Last Thursday in Beijing, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian signed a joint statement on the implementation of the agreement.
