Investigation opened after racist publications targeting singer Aya Nakamura. The 28-year-old singer, crowned female artist at the Victoires de la Musique, is stigmatized by the far right.

Nakamura has been the subject of numerous racist attacks since the announcement, at the end of February, of her possible participation at the July 26 launch evening of the Olympic Games. She could perform songs by Edith Piaf during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, the prosecution said on Friday.
